Noticed Contador came off early on and had no support to pace him back to the peloton.

Vino out, JVDB out.... there will be no one left to contend the overall at this rate.

Stage 9 finish. 1.5km at 6.1% with a righthand hairpin bend halfway up. Only last 100m is flat.

Just heard Phil say that the last 2km's are very steep at 10%!

I know we have yet to reach the mountains but Basso is looking in good shape considering his build up to the tour.

Considering all the crashes and just general crazy shit that's been happening in this years Tour, it's amazing that Leopard Trek have been able to keep thier noses clean as they have -especially when consider all of Contadors problems to date.

Blimey the look of Hoegerland's legs  :-\

These guys are heroes to climb straight on their bikes after something like this, me bro ran into an old piece of barbed wire once when we were kids playing in a field, we had to wait for a doc to come to remove the thing from his calf! And he went flying in those at such speed! Crazy.

Some footballers should watch this before they act as they've been shot with a rifle.

Hoogerland hs been caught by the field.  He looks truly awful, and it wouldn't surprise us if he has to abandon.

Hope not after he has rode his way into the KOM jersey.

Wasn't surprised to see Sanchez take it at the end there being he's probably done the least amount of work on the front in that breakaway.
