All the best and get well soon. Guess the intense pressure on him at Villa didn't help :(

Get well soon, GH,

Whether this is the time and place or not, surely he will heed this as his body telling him to quit?

He looks ancient when talking about Villa after the matches. The stress can't be good for a man who has had major heart surgery.

Has to be a serious consideration though.

Get well soon GH.

It could well be a sign for him to pack in managing. It's such a stressful job, especially for a man who had major heart surgery. He would/could make a great scout or director of football somewhere. Hope he gets well soon.

I was reading the other day that, apparently, 1 in 5 people are Chinese...and there are 5 people in my family, so, which one is it?

Well, it's not me...so, it’s either my mum......or my dad......or my older brother Colin......or my younger brother Ho-Cha-Chu.   Hmm...it's probably Colin.

Poor Ged. LFC family. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Was surprised when he took the Villa gig, his days at the coalface should be over. But think this will be a wake-up call for sure now, and after guiding Villa to safety, I hope he'll step down in the summer.

It's such a pity as I'd really like to see him in something like Platini's job if I'm honest. He's infinitely more qualified for starters. If the chief puppet master Blatter gets ousted in the summer by the Qatari bloke, then who knows how long his French pet poodle will last?
My scouse, the often busted but seldom battered Mr Flabby Whore Alien. Who will not send in cottoned wool, bubbled rap, shiny sliver spaced blanket and sum beefy Bovril to keep it warm and safe and snag as bag in a rag? Oh Whore yours is a sweeter leftish peg

Get well soon Gerard. No discharging yourself to get to the game!
If you ask Smalling and Brown if they'd rather play Suarez or Carroll, they'd say Suarez all day long, because he's not going to bully them or run in behind them.

A lot of talk that he's gone for the remainder of the season at least. I'd like to think that the Villa board will do the right thing and not let him back as manager at all if it is indeed serious enough for that to be the case - His health problems are always going to be bubbling under the surface, unfortunately. I wish him all the best.

Wish him as well as possible. He was the manager when I became a Liverpool supporter, so he'll always spring to mind when I think of the club.
