Would have considered it if it was Malaysia-Singapore and Thailand but everything is a bit stretched out on this one

Would be best to fly to Hong Kong then overland to the game in China its about 2-3 hrs on the train over the border.

Air Asia have a low budget flight HK - KL for about 170 quid return. for the second game.

Agree the Korea game is the most expensive one to get to.

I might just head to KL with the missus as it is cheap from Brisbane and she loves Asia and would probly go shopping whilst I went to the game. :)

Air Asia do CAN-KL three times a day. Also do KL-Seoul daily.

Tickets for the Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia friendly can be purchased here:

Link: http://www.ticketpro.com.my/jnp/sports/football/666109-liverpool-football-club-tour-2011.html

Got leave for that week so will try to get a cheap airfare out to KL from Perth for the match and then head up to Thailand for a couple of days before reporting back for duty. Not a big fan of downtown KL and the crime problems in the city.

Check this site out, sign up and then you can book / reserve first class seats for about 16 quid each way Hong Kong - Guangzhou

You cannot book seats until one month before the travel date, book seats and pick up tickets in Hong Kong.

Unlucky mate, i was going to book flights but decided at the last minute to wait for an official announcement, i wonder if they will go to Thailand, Singapore or HK for the 3rd match, would make sense to play in HK first then over to mainland China for the 2nd game.

Doubt Singapore or Thailand will happen. It's simply too close to the dates now for them to add additional cities. Looks like it will be a 2 city tour and then back to the UK to prepare for the start of the premier league season and friendlies.

The Hilton have a promotion on at the moment. Match tickets, 2 nights accomodation and lunch with Phil Thompson prior to the match kick off, including airport transfers and stadium transfers. This is for the Malaysian friendly.
