No denying he gets in the ear of the 4th official and influences decisions.

They dont need telling anymore. Haven't done since the first ref got demoted to the 3rd division for not giving them a pen

I mean he openly called a ref corrupt and suddenly they think the entire world is against them because he gets punished for it

that's the key.

i heard that twat durham on the radio comparing it to wenger's outburst after the sunderland game recently when he said he was "too disgusted" to talk about the referee's decisions. well he was just implying that the ref was poor, not calling his integrity into question before a ball was kicked.

Technical question - when they get touchline bans, are they also banned from the dressing room pre game/at half time?  I guess that could make a difference, the touchline element, meh, you get a better view from the stands anyway.

Just from the dug out. Article 5, Clause 4 of the PL Regulations don't permit banning hair-dryers from dressing rooms.

On match day, as I understand it, he is banned from the dressing room and can have no contact with anyone on the bench during the game.

I'm not sure if paper planes made from gin bottle labels, with tactical changes written on them, being aimed at Phelan is included in the ruling.

About time something was done about the piss stained bastard. Not that the fine will last long; the FA will probably reduce it from £30,000 to £5 and a half eaten Mars bar by Friday.

Depends how you look at it. Are you looking at it as a 5 match ban or a 3 match ban plus another suspended 2 match ban?

It will make zero difference. He can communicate anyway from the stand.
In any case I was sat in the paddock not far from Ferguson in the United game the other week. He got off the bench once in 90 minutes, and didn't say a dicky bird. That was in a game United were playing shite in. It won't make any difference.

Well at least we now know BigBruceyGrob's real name.

Thats what gets on my tits. What kind of shithouses masquerade as a fan of another club? I'll be far too disgusted to do anything remotely like that. In fact I feel nauseous even barely wondering what I'd have been if I supported the mancs.

Then you have these people like TopKopster who had wwoy as his avatar. Even talking about it makes me feel like I need a shower.

Not sure the 3 game ban is enough really.

Wasn't his original ban (which included the additional 2 games that were suspended) about 4 games, so he served 2 and carried the 2 over? Therefore, his 3 match ban this time is actually more lenient - should have been more for a repeat offence. Isn't it obvious that the bans just don't work, he'll continue to reoffend.
