Fuck clearing players out let's just clear you out
Two bulls, one old and one young, standing at the top of a field watching a herd of cows. The young one says, "hey let's run down and fuck one of them", and the older one says, "patience, let's walk down and fuck them all".

It's ok lads, didn't you hear Martin Tyler's Monkey?

It's not his fault.

Martin Tylers monkey would like Joe public to blame the foreign players who dont know what playing in England means, Roy was handed these players and its not his fault, he is LMA manager of the year.

I hate having to listen to him laugh at his own jokes at Liverpool players expense.

From the BBC

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson: "It was a bad day at the office, there was plenty of effort but no end product and the players are very disappointed in there. The fans have left angry and that's understandable. However, it would be dangerous to clear a lot of players out on the basis of one game. We wanted our renaissance to start today, but it hasn't happened. Panic would be the wrong thing to do but I'm not the sole arbiter of that."

;D  Is he really that stupid? Does he honestly think that the fans are behind him?

I'm just wondering whether its worth staying up late tonight to see him fired? Unfortunately I fear this won't happen, I think he's going to be given more time to try and turn things around. Obviously that isn't going to happen, but I don't believe that NESV are going to take any action except to give him some money to spend on a few OAP's in January.

This is serious now. Really serious. I've just heard Roy's interview. Sack him, give him his money. It's what he want I think. He's standing firm because he wants to turn it round, which he can't, and because he will get a payoff in he gets pushed. He will get less money if he walks. Roy Evans on LFCtv is basically saying this is bad, Roy's interview was bad, but being in the same position, he can't bring himself to have a real go because of the human aspect, and because he knows what he's going through.

I've tried to give Roy the benefit of the doubt as he's not the devil and came and did a job that nobody wanted to do, but that being said, he's done a shit job at it, the job is over, we have new owners, a transfer window is about to open, we're getting fucking skunked by inferior sides week in and week out; it's not negative to say he needs to go, it's just the truth.  His family probably think the same.

Sorry Roy.  May you hopefully go down as the worst tenure in our history... or god save that unlucky man who does get the title.

That nobody wanted to do?? we had a manager making plans for this season already installed

it's horrible the amount of times he's made comments about players not being good enough, and selling players or clearing the team.

when he came he said he wouldn't let the players have any excuses, they clearly don't respect him or play for him.

Why should anyone be fair to Hodgson when he hasn't been fair to us?

He's talked utter shite in every interview and press conference and has made us even worse.

He is a very clever man alright, but continually blaming others gets noticed. Its like watching Tony Hayward infront of the US senate committee but more painful and less funny.

After seeing fulham's success last year , i thought how Roy will do at a big club.

Think we found the answer.

We should been in at least in the top8  looking at the squad.

It's time  Roy left the club.

This is the "be fair to Roy" thread - so be fair!

Nothing in his media performances so far has shown us he's capable of taking some of the blame himself so why start today? Therefore it's fair to say that Roy is just doing what he always does: Dodge the bullets and blame everybody else - however he's spicing this one up by putting blame on us fans for being spoiled brats.

Class Roy, pure class!

Top 8? Don't accept Hodgo's lowering of standards. The way the league is this year we absolutely should be fighting for the top4.

Yeah, cause a clear out of players is what we need, Roy... You have taken a squad that finished on a poor 7th place last season to 12th. With your transfer record so far, I seriously hope the club don't give you a penny to spend. You are likely to make us even worse than you have managed in your first six months. Are you on a mission to destroy the club?
