All the Final Fantasys are a fiver to seven quid each. I played FF8 through steam and plugging in my Xbox controller which worked really well (apart from the bit on the train with the codes, that took fooking ages) - anyone tried any of the others? I don't know whether to wait for FF7 on Xbone. I've only played 8 and 13 before, could try 9.

Offline has gone odd

FF9 is considered by some as one of the best, the remastered version on steam is superb. if you dont mind pixel art style, FF6 is also well worth some time.
- all in my opinion of course -

Civ 5 complete edition is £8. Includes every official purchasable add on ever released for it - would be £98 if you bought them all not in the sale. Get it bought.

Bought this as well. Never played any Civ before. Time to dive into a marathon tiny game on beginner as Nebuchannezer and see what the crack is about.

If you liked 2033, try metro:last light.  I thought that 2033 was pretty decent, but personally felt that last light was much, much better.  Loved it.

Cheers, yeah I played both one after the other. Last night was much better like you say, much more focus on stealthily fighting humans and less on the mutant sections which I found a bit annoying.

The mutant bear was a bastard though, such an irritating fight.

Yeah, that fucking bear!   I still wake up some nights screaming "I've shot you a thousand times, why won't you die!?".   Can't wait for the third game though.

The PC version is great but the artwork isn't really up to scratch as they're upscaled from 320x240, I recommend this mod:

Maybe with/or the scanlines mod:

One of my favourite games of all time, enjoy.

If anyone is a fan of the original Micro Machines series I recommend grabbing ToyBox Turbos on Steam for £3:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/287260/Toybox_Turbos/

It's made by Codemasters it just doesn't have the Micro Machines license, their recent Micro Machines World Series is garbage in comparison and cost £20

Humble Bundle have the 2013 Shadow Warrior going for free (via Steam) right now, if anyone's not got it. Cheesy as fuck, knows it, has some fun with it.

Getting a new 1440p 144Hz G-Sync monitor this week, anyone got any recommendations for games to play on it that will look insane? All the games in my steam library are old since it's been ages since I've properly played PC games  ;D

Someone should do the right thing - go back in time to 1992 and destroy the codes to Championship Manager before it is ever released

Tempted to get Oxygen not included. Looks a neat little game, but it's still in Early Access. Seems to be one of the decent EA-games though...
Steam sale has started by the way... ;)

you should get it, it's very good and could quite easily be released as a 1.0 if they wanted
STFU and agree with me.
