GG

Aston Villa v West Brom/ Burnley v Leeds/ Shrewsbury v Cheltenham

Aston Villa are just too open these days and West Brom can score against anyone. They have failed to score away 3 times, against Chelsea on the 1st day when they were shellsocked, against us when they looked like the home side for much of the game, and against Wigan. Wigan are the biggest ACC killers in the league (for me) so any results against them I tend to discount

Burnley v Leeds GG will come in about 25 minutes or not ta all. Its a classic goals galore game. Leeds second highest scorers in the league with an excellent away goals record. Burnley score alot of home goals. Plus its a derby of sorts

Shrewbury v Cheltenham. Just a feeling

Nice one pal, won your last 3/4 of them haven't you? Can't argue with a guaranteed 11/2.

Anyone know the reason for the drift on Spurs?

Not yet.

Wanted to write a big post about why Spurs were a good bet due to their brilliant home form since Redknapp took over, coupled with Chelsea's poor form (only 2 wins in 8, 5 goals in that period I think) but can't be arsed (Chelsea not won at Spurs for 5 years either).

Tottenham
01 Gomes
02 Hutton
03 Bale
19 Bassong
20 Dawson
32 Assou-Ekotto
07 Lennon
12 Palacios
14 Modric
09 Pavlyuchenko
18 Defoe

Chelsea
01 Cech
02 Ivanovic
03 A Cole
19 Ferreira
26 Terry
05 Essien
07 Ramires
12 Mikel
15 Malouda
21 Kalou
39 Anelka

Look at those teams. Bale is gonna tear Ferreira apart.

5/2? Please.

Fucken annoying weekend.

Had Pompey,Leeds, Barnsely and Ipswich 10 pounds 40/1, 3 out of 4 Roy Keane fucked my bet.

Had Villa, Sunderland draw, City, Liverpool 10 pounds 35/1. 3 out of 4, Hodgson fucked my bet.

Had Bolton, St Ettienne, Bilbao, Spurs. 10 pounds 36/1. Gomes fucked my bet.

Really fucking annoying!

http://www.bettingzone.co.uk/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=betting/10/12/13/manual_114430.html

Sky Bet have slashed the odds on Roy Hodgson to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post to 2/1 from 10/1 following some heavy backing.

After a poor start under Hodgson, Liverpool looked to be putting their problems behind them but defeat at Newcastle on Saturday night has prompted further speculation the former Fulham boss is set to leave Anfield.

Sky Bet have seen some strong backing for Hodgson to depart and consequently make him second favourite to be the next top-flight boss to go behind West Ham boss Avram Grant.

Sky Bet football odds compiler Joe Petyt said: "It's the second time this season we've seen money for Hodgson to go. He managed to turn results around slightly on the first occasion but he still remains firmly under pressure.

"With people taking prices as short as 2/1 it makes you wonder if there might be something in it this time."

Paddy Power make Hodgson 5/4 co-favourite with Grant (from 9/2).

Power also chopped the odds on Hodgson not to finish the season as Liverpool manager after a deluge of bets on Sunday evening as rumours gathered pace on internet fan pages and forums.

Hodgson was Even money not to last the season and is now 5/6.

Frank Rijkaard is Paddy Power's 3/1 favourite to be next Liverpool manager if and when Hodgson leaves.

Martin O'Neill and Guus Hiddink are second best at 5/1 and Anfield legend Kenny Dalglish is 13/2 for a return to the hotseat.

Paddy Power said: "The glory days at Fulham must seem a lifetime ago for Roy Hodgson, the bets have been coming thick and fast and would suggest that the Hodgson is skating on very thin ice."

Gonna lump on Roy next manager to go, thinking of putting £50 on. He's 10-1, he'll lose vs Fulham then get sacked.

EDIT: seen his odds have been slashed, 2-1? FUCK THAT.

Tonight, Dover, who have won 6 out of 7 away this season, are away at our friends Havant & Waterlooville, who have only won 2 out of 7 at home.

Got Dover at 2/1 on Betfred and will double up with Valencia -1

Arsenal 16/5 tempting
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.
