Is it the last ever one?
It`s a quarter of the way through the saga. Many more "This group of survivors twats that group of survivors and that group of survivors regroups, comes back and twats the first group of survivors" to come.

Terrible episode, not interested in the slightest in Alpha or Beta back story. A whole episode and we're back to where we were at the end of the first episode.

Was that the same satellite that's was in the last episode of fear?

Edit...just realised that the satellite was from TWD season 10 opening...getting confused...or it's an age thing

I know it's largely not been good for a while now but that's the first one were I've actually thought fuck it and turned it off.

The whisperers are shite and again they don't translate well to tv from the comics just like Negan didn't with the way they kept that story going for ages

All these little groups they bring into it remind me of Philip Seymour Hoffmans drama club in Along Came Polly. Like the sort of nobs you'd get on The Crystal Maze taking it dead fucking serious but being dead shit at it still.

Some of it would look dated if it came out in the 70s with Blakes 7 or Saphire and Steel. Hollyoaks has better acting

It's a really weird show, this. In terms of quality, it's all over the place. That was actually a pretty decent episode. The best I can say for it was that it didn't make me want to fast forward and get to the end. I wasn't bored. The previous few episodes were pointless filler shite. I couldn't give a bollocks about the origins of the bald mental women. She's a psycho. She's bald. She wears dead people's faces on her face. That's all I need to know. Keep it ticking over. Saying that, next week's episode will likely be bollocks now.

Typical that the episode after I stop watching is apparently quite good  ;D I'll give it a look tonight if I get time - the more Negan the better.

Couple wee interesting threads to pull on if the writers have any foresight, which means they probably won't, because they don't. Like the dead having dangerous fungus growing out of them a'la Last of Us, and Carol and the doc having some kind of PTSD. Negan will probably be put back in the box as well, especially given that he's shown glimpses of an actual character.

Awful episode.

But those episodes of TWD where you can't see anything for most of the episode always tend to be crap.

Genuinely suprised that TWD is still going.

I stopped watching not long after Negan got introduced, just became boring and repetative to me. There didn’t seem to be any danger anymore from the one thing I watched the show for...the walkers.

It must’ve been at least two series ago since the walkers did anything of note. What’s the point of them if they’re not going to ‘get’ anyone.

hmmmm, wasn't impressed with it at all, we're supposed to believe a 6ft 7 guy waded through a tunnel system built by the insider guy and noone in the camp knew i mean c'mon, also part of the problem with this and for me one of the nails in the coffin for this is how terrible Samantha Morton is in this, everything ive seen her in previously she's usually excellent in this shes fkin terrible and cringey, what with that ridiculous demeanour and that silly beckman-ish voice. Also Carol, what have they done to her with her plotlines??, she gone from loose cannon badass to someone making terrible decisions and weak af, also that sex scene at the end of the other episode, sweet jesus.. Im done with this now.. theres so much better stuff out there than to sit and tolerate this shit any more.

Yeah, I agree with that. Especially regarding Sam Morton. She started out well enough, but as the series dragged on, she's gotten terribly hammy. I was thinking during that episode that she must be getting handed her script and thinking "What the fuck is this shit?!" I can only assume she's bored and is having a laugh. Really, though, the writing is just horrible. The big guy (Beta is it?) is literally a walking piss take at this point. He's like a Michael Myers/Jason Voorhees/T-800 hybrid and as equally as dumb and as cliche as all three. Speaking of cliche, the show is now basically a running gag of horror tropes. Shoot the bad guy. Have him at your mercy. But don't, for the love of fuck, whatever you do, don't put one into his skull and absolutely make sure he's dead. That would be boring and too easy. Also, have your big Terminator-style bad guy nerf himself whenever he's fighting his arch nemesis: a 90lb soaking wet woman. He can't beat those, but he can beat everyone else. Oh, and having a kip also heals what would otherwise be a fatal knife wound. Say, like a severed femoral artery. Just bleed out for a day, wake up and you'll be grand.

Ah, it's utter shite, but I've come this far, so fuck it.

Battle of Winterfell on budget. ;D

Building into a fantastic battle which should be the next couple of episodes.

Yeah, you’d have to be dumb to get bitten by one of these. However, the zombies in series 1 were much different. Quicker, used tools (one of them picked up a concrete block and smashed a window), and had traces of memories (e.g. Morgan’s wife, the girl picking up the teddy bear). I reckon they were scarier back then.

For people who are giving up on this and want a decent zombie fix, can I suggest Kingdom on Netflix.

It’s a (poorly) dubbed series set in ancient Korea, takes 3 episodes until you get some zombie action but it’s quality!

I suggest switching it to the original Korean language with English subs though!

Thanks for suggesting this. I wouldn't have known about it. Checked out the trailer, and yeah, that looks really good. At least visually.
