Yeah very true. I then watched the whole match and my opinion still didn't change. He is seriously making a comeback to football. The rating per game Quaresma is getting is pretty good but that's cause he is against easy teams in the uefa. I just like how he plays cause whenever he has the ball he makes a trick or two and it just makes me enjoy the game =)

He scored a really nice goal in his last match for the uefa (against an easy team of course cause it's the start of the campaign in Uefa for Beşiktaş) and performed excellent once again. I don't understand the negative comments towards Quaresma but his performing pretty awesome for Beşiktaş.

Strange it never seemed to happen for him.

You'd watch him in Portgual and he'd rape teams almost single handedly, but then you watch him for Inter and he'd do sod all.

For his sake I hope his Turkish experiences are closer to his Portugal experience.
I'm really hoping Sturridge busts out the wacky dip when he scores.

I think the fact he was once thought to be as good as if not better (not by me, but most people felt this way) than Ronaldo means he has fallen from a height? No?

Which Ronaldo? Cristiano? That was at a time when he wasn't all that, he was considered a good winger but nothing like in the past few years.

Quaresma's always been one of those players that teenagers obsessed with rabonas and step overs wank over. He was good in Portugal, nowhere else.

He fails to perform in the big leagues or the big games really. He's better in a league more like the Turkish or Portuguese

His biggest mistake was turning down Rafa. It seems we were really close to signing him before we went for Babel, but Rafa told him that he'd have to buck his ideas up, put in a shift and adjust his game to suit the Premier League. More defensive, more direct, less show pony.

If he'd have done this, he could have become an awesome player here, but look where he is now.

Just love an underdog story.  http://supersport.com/football/european-championships/news/100830/Queresma_replaces_Ronaldo_for_qualifiers

Queresma replaces Ronaldo for qualifiers

Beşiktaş striker Ricardo Quaresma has been called in to replace Cristiano Ronaldo for Euro 2012 qualifiers against Cyprus and Norway, the Portuguese football federation (FPF) announced on Monday.

Ronaldo took a knock to his right ankle in Real Madrid's 0-0 draw at Real Mallorca on Sunday and will be out of action for up to three weeks.

He underwent an MRI scan on Monday morning that revealed "a contusion on his right ankle," his club revealed in a statement.

Portugal play Cyprus on Friday and Norway four days
John the milkman on Rafa:

“He was a very good customer. He was just the three bottles of semi-skimmed. They didn’t have to be placed zonally on his step or anything. He was happy to have a chat and he would always look after you at Christmas.”

Why was this bastard never injured for United but is now out all the time (an exageration)? Ronaldo, not Quaresma, obviously.

Quaresma has done really well since he went to Beşiktaş, hasn't he? Scored at least 2-3 goals which have all looked great, and the fans already have a song for him. Appears to have found his level, so what if it's not "the big time?" If he's enjoying himself and has the respect from the supporters then who's anyone to complain.

It's just a shame for him really, he's wasted his superb natural talent because he's to self obsessed to play in a team.
