I read somewhere before that they're gonna have a "tiny" delay just in case and that they also have a tape on standby as well.

To be fair to Eastenders, it is a soap opera, so its going to be a bit silly, cheap and ridiculous plenty of times. But overall we are in a way lucky because the soap opera's in this country are better than almost anywhere. Just watch a number of American soap opera's and you will see what I mean.

I also think soap opera's in general in the UK have done brilliantly in highlighting some really key issues and storylines. Eastenders may seem a bit silly but I am glad that we have it.

Would watch it if this woman was permanently soaping herself in the shower ... she looks like a slightly chubby Megan Fox to me.

Absolutely brilliant television. One of the best ever. This is what tv is all about. Forget the reality tv shows, the acting tonight was great.

That's what I though. We knew he fluffed his lines as we knew it was live and we were all on high alert, but given the scenario, that'd probably have happened in real life.

Only watched myself for the fuck ups. I think the Jack screwing up his lines could have been on purpose, to prove the live thing. And did anyone else notice the camera go a bit wobbly, then zoom in?

Oh and slap head putting his finger down his throat. Yea saw that too, but if you cant make a throwing up noise without doing that, theres something wrong with you!

Didn't watch it because it's shit, but the Mrs had it on and just caught the bit where the baldy fucker who runs the pub (Phil?) was threatening Ian Beale.
Now I can honestly claim never to have watched a full episode of this tripe but have caught a few minutes of it here and there due to it just being on.
Over the years I must have caught Beale being threatened by this baldy bellend about 1000 times.
Wouldn't you think by now Beale would have (a) learned to stay away from the c*nt or (b) be dead?
