I'm done mate, got me trip, flight, digs, transport to airport and back, all sorted. Having a wee bit of trouble with tickets. Only because all the lads I usually go with are going so there's no spare, which I usually kop for, floating about. But I'm not that worried. I've got irons in the fire, and a few lads on here have already came to the rescue. Thanks lads. But I can't do anything about it just yet in case me mates come up with tickets. So, I'll wait a wee while. Can't really see it being that big of a problem.

Now he is pretty used to nice creature comforts, and I am usually so drunk I'll need help from nearby Reds... so anyone able to suggest a decent hotel in a good area near fellow Reds??

Booked it through Expedia.co.uk, got a decent deal.

Euro's are fine for Hungary (as they are ANYWHERE in Europe, Euro Zone or not). Most places will give you the choice to pay in Euro's or Forints. Even if you're paying on Card, they'll ask you which currency you want the transaction to go through in.

Anyone on hold to the Ticket Office? Never thought I'd get so sick of Fields of Anfield Road.

Have now booked Swoop and myself into the K and K Hotel Opera. Its a bit classy, so I don't expect we'll be meeting any of the riffraff we sometimes see.

Instead Brian and I will mostly be doing culture and fine grub. And beers.

Just got everything dosh, plane hotel tickets. 22,000 for 80. Cash the rest over there. Just match tickets to sort now. I'll know if there sorted in the next couple of days. Should be alright but might be looking for two spares. Can't wait for this now. Should be a right laugh.

I called the club. I doubt they'll go on general sale. Normally I have no problem with european aways. I go with a crowd of season ticket holders and someone always drops out. So I grab their ticket and they get the loyalty, but it looks like all hands are going to this one. I need two as it is, but if anymore than that drop out, I'll kop for the ticket and anyone who wants it can have it face value. Just waiting now to see what's going to happen. It's normal for a few to drop out last minute... work, kids, and what have you.

........talking of which, Aurigny have given a refund and a free flight to the same value as compensation for the flight to Stansted that they cancelled last week, despite at least getting us to Gatwick. Insurance should pay the replacement flight so, apart from an uncomfortable night at Gatwick airport instead of a nice hotel bed in France, nothing lost other than a night's sleep.
