martin fischer: .....we'll come to the game itself in a moment, but david fairclough alongside me, usually is very good for the inside track on what's happening behind the scenes at liverpool. And David, it looks as though again there might be a change of ownership possibly in the summer...that's the talk you tell me.
fairclough: yeah, I believe that looks immanent at the moment...great speculation that err, that the new, or potential owners were there on tuesday night. Certainly from what we're gathering, it looks on the cards in the near future.
fisher: and who are these new owners, are they the same people that we've heard of before or is this a new group?
fairclough: Yeah, names that you won't err, they will be familiar to people I think.
fisher: so arab groups?
fairclough: yeah looks like it yeah.
fisher: now what kind of impact would that have on the club do you think?
Fairclough: I think Liverpool err, need to be moving forward. I'm sure that the manager has had assurances that err, new finance will be there. Certainly the club have to develop in terms of stadium wise, so I think those guarentees must be in place for Rafa to have committed his long term future.
fisher: so presumably Rafa knows all about this?
Fairclough: yeah I would say so
