Wasn't intending to start a debate about women sleeping in trucks and shitting in bags  :D

But in 2024 it's disgusting that a woman can be celebrated for just grabbing her newborn kid and taking her 200 miles away and the father has no say in it whatsoever.

Obviously just a TV show, but it's a storyline that actually happens every day in real life.

Ticketmaster should die

Seeing Godspeed You! Black Emperor again in Oct, party time, drop an E, let the good times roll

Ticket is thirty bar

An extra tenner goes on for Handling Fees, Processing Fee and Site Fee and all that. Handle WHAT, it's a digital, generic, standing-room-only ticket??

Unless the parent is an absolute twat, kids need both parents there, it shouldn't be celebrated like you say.

The 2 manc families that arrived on Friday night to stay in the caravans next to us and think it's ok to disrespect where they are.

Constant noise, screaming, shouting, dogs barking, traumatizing the livestock and to cap it off they've left their dog shit on track to our house which they covered with leaves meaning I drove over it this morning and it's now squished into the gravel.

I had a run in with these last time they stayed when they kicked off after I asked them to keep the noise down at 11.30pm.

Five Guys is quite decent taste-wise - as far as fast food goes.

But they're charging a fortune for it.

Have we got Taco Bell in the UK now?

I've never been to Five Guys, as I'm not paying those prices for fast food - rather go buy a Wagyu burger from Aldi and cook that at home

We've a chicken place near us, its £7.49 for 8 strips of boneless chicken, fries and a drink, there's enough food for two people so the kids go there all the time

there's a Taco Bell in town, it's very disappointing.

five guys is expensive but actually pretty good - I don't care how many people you're with, you will only need one order of chips, they multiply in front of your face.

Popeyes chicken is delicious, the gravy is really good, cajun chips lovely... for whatever reason whoever is making/baking the biscuits took the name literally and thinks they need to be the consistency of a fucking digestive so don't bother, they're also the size of a 50p which is nonsense.

Yeah. I always order just one small portion of chips if I'm getting a Five Guys delivered. They fill the whole bag with chips anyway. What's that about? haha.

I thought it was really pricey though (we have one here, not tried yours).
But then I guess that's the point of them in this thread, all these takeaways seem pricey!
"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.

Chain takeaways are way overpriced, there's a Pizza Hut near mine which is £16.44 for a 13" pizza [& that's on offer, normal price over £20], an independent sells 12" pizza for around £10, the independent one is just as good as the chain pizza if not better, but better value for money.

The chain ones are ok if their doing one of the buy a pizza get one free offers, but not great for me when im single & live on my own.

Set up about 3 different Uber, Deliveroo, Justeat, etc, accounts. While you're using one, they send offers or credit to entice you back to using the dormant accounts. I never buy full price. Too pricey these days. I'd rather spend the money on decent grub to cook at home.
