The idea is excactly that. Taking tickets from REAL supporters and selling them as corporate seats. I was told they want to increase the corporate seats from 5,000 to 10,000. Thats 5,000 less tickets for the like of you and me. The development assoc' is just the first thing to lose out. P.T.S cards are being targeted too along with supporters club allocations being cut by 50%. All this to show an increase in revenue. This might be to make the club look more attractive to any potetial bidders or to aquire more loans from the banks. Who knows? The one thing that is for sure the atmosphere will be shit. Look at Emirates stadium for an example. Half time comes and all the middle rows of seats all empty for the half time corporate hospitality. Some of them not even watching the second half. Don't know about you but I think the time has come for direct action against H+G.
and yet some people believe this behind closed door ticket allocations wasnt going on? and whats moores & parry got to say on the matter, sweet fa, its moores who you should target, hes the one who turned his back on the hjc,and the stadium.

whatever the rights and wrongs about moores he's not the one in power now. he's not the one whose made this feckin decision, or any other feckin decision since he sold the family jewels to the twat brothers.
and even if he is solidly 100% heart soul and bollocks in favour of it - it still isn't his decision. what's the point of targetting yesterday's man for today's outrage? i mean what is to be achieved?
lets expend our energies on the important targets shall we?

i see where you're coming from, but i stand by my reading of the situation we face. parry and moores are like a syphillitic blotch on a once beautiful face - we all want shot of it.

but tearing away at the blotch won't cure the syphillis. we need to root out the infection itself, and as you say yourself..'it's the yanks who dictate....'

I can't find this info anywhere else (cue 20 people sending a link to me in the next minute) but who are EDT, why is the SOS c/o them on the postal address, and why are they keeping my personal data if I apply to join SOS?
And what's the deal with acting on behalf of the Liverpool Supporters Union.  That's 3 organisations there, when I thought I was joining one...SOS.

I'm probably being daft, but wouldn't mind an explanation if anyone's got a minute.
Cheers.

I believe that EDT is the employer of one of the founders/admin of the Union, and that he uses their postal address (his work address) to receive post to the union.

EDT is the Everton Development Trust (http://www.edt.org.uk/).

I believe.

Everton!?
Only joking...*cough*

Ta for the link - have had a quick look, and its all fine of course....but I still don't understand why they're the parent organisation, and why it needs one.
I get the business address aspect, but not the holding of data and all that - I'm sure there's a good reason of course, and I'm not trying to panic anyone, I just wouldn't mind knowing what they are.

Apologies to anyone from the development who may have took offence to my ill thought out comment.
I know lads who used to work for the Development Association, so I know the good work you do.
It was wrong to use the term die hard fans. Its a too easily to use cliché.
So Apologies.

But I still maintain that the atmosphere at domestic matches is shite, in the Upper Kemlyn, it shouldn't be up to those in the Kop soley to generate a good atmosphere, its boss there  on a european night, so theres no excuse not to at least try like.

Read an interview in the Echo yesterday where Tony B asked Ian Ayre the questions the Union wanted answering. Ayre said that Development agents won't lose their tickets,  Is that true ?? He said its getting "streamlined", he also said tickets from the development got into the hands of some non-official corporate events.
SIR Bill Shankly:
