[crosses fingers] I sure hope Nando comes out of this friendly unscathed. He's obviously not 100% yet and to play him would be risky. I'd understand a bit more if this was a qualifier but it's a friendly FFS.

That was a ugly kit... red shirt with thin yellow stripes, white pants and blue socks... lukly we have a decent kit now.

I think the blue was too clear, and didn't like the yellow stripes at all. Finally, the Spain badge never suited too good in the shirts but they found a good solution for the Euro kit. I think the Euro 08 kit was one of the best we ever had.

From the highlights it looked like Torres was bullied a bit, and got the brunt of England (and Ashley Cole)'s frustrations, for being one of Spain's "show off"/skillful players.

Probably set him up a bit for life in the Premier League
