Well done Liverpool, good win tonight.
Now we can sleep easy, now we can sleep tight.
But oh I forgot, we play Man U on Sunday.
But I know we can beat them, cause Rafa will show us the way.

A little dig at poetry. Good game, good win. 3 things

1. Torres. Man of the match. Ran defence ragged. But Masch had another brilliant game too.
2. Babel. Is a striker waiting to happen. Lovely goal to round off a lovely evening. Kid's gonna be a star.
3. To our manager. Cool, calm and collected, didn't break a sweat under the pressure from the media. Good on ya Raf.

Great through ball to Gerrard for the penality .. and if Gerrard wasn't there for the rebound Kuyt was there ..

and some great play with Yossi & Kewell ..

and a superb goal !

delighted with tonight. so many positives to talk about.

hyypia was outstanding. i was worried when agger was out injured but the way he's playing agger will have to work to get back in! great stuff.

kewell is a breath of fresh air at the moment, great having him back as i do think we lack a bit of quality out wide at times. only playing an hour will hopefully mean he can start against the mancs.

gerrard continued his great form again, as did torres. both of them are fucking dreams at the moment.

was pleased dirk had a good game and got a deserved goal, and ryan babel is starting to excite me a bit now after being unsure of him initially.

milan or madrid would suit me down to the ground in the next round. and rafa will still be here. great night.

Tell you what i liked, the fact that they had 65% possesion to our 35%...shows how clinical we were with the ball --always looked dangerous in possesion--unlike them

Also think we need to start harry and Yossi on Sunday--they give us real balance.
And as for Kewell and his contract--we have been and are a different team with him in it --no brainer

Appalling refereeing, so much diving and drama and only Liverpool players seemed to get booked. No red for the penalty either, top referee my testicle

As to the game, well, what can you say, yet another side puts in a shocking performance against us, we must be the luckiest team ever, it seems every team that meets us choose that game to fail to perform, its almost like there is common theme linking these performance, but for the life of me I can't put my finger on it.

Riise and Kuyt knockers should take a step back tonight.

Excellent performance from us, assured in attack and defense. Kept the pace just right the whole match. Marseille were game but dashing against the rocks of our defense.

Torres is the real deal alright, and we just have to get Maschie signed.. end of.

Pleased for Rafa, and for us. Just need a confirming statement from the yanks backing him for the future, and we can set aside the doubts and worries, and concentrate on bringing No 19 and the accompanying Euro Cup home.

Been skipping around the radio stations. The new stick to beat us with is that we only finished second in our group.

Personally, I'm not bothered about finishing second. We've proved over the past two trips to the Final, that we can play anyone on our day. It was all about qualifying after that poor start, and we've managed that.

So, fuck off to the media, we've made it through to the last 16. Looking forward to the draw now.
