Thanks for the tips guys - i have to admit I'm not a huge downloader so I thought if I followed the general rules I'd be OK.

I have a proxy via Zenmate - I'm not particularly hooked on IPT - if anyone has any other invites I'd be really grateful.

Unfortunately, I've got one of those ad veils covering the site no matter which address I use - as soon as I click on the page, a separate tab opens with some horse shit ad for nonsense. I've got Adblocker on, but it's not doing anything to it.

Also, it seems like I'm not getting any credit for my uploads on IPT. I use Tixati.

Is there a private torrent site that really has clear advantages over using the usual suspects like The Pirate Bay and Kickass?

If so, what would you say the advantages are and what are the best sites?

See people talking about IPT but I've never heard of it. I used to be on Demonoid but it went defunct I think and I can't remember my details anyway.

Demonoid came back again. It's the same user details as before.

The main advantages are speed, safer downloads (more anonymous and far less chance of getting nasty shite) and often better quality downloads than are available on public trackers. This is particularly true for private music trackers.

I'd give you an IP invite if I had one but they haven't given me any for the last couple of months. They usually give me too many.

Some advice would be appreciated from IPTorrents users. I've downloaded a couple of torrents so far with no problems but they won't start uploading at all. My client says there are plenty of peers in the swarm but it won't make the connections. I even changed to one of the builds of uTorrent that the site recommends but no dice. I know they're strict about seeding so don't want to be banned before I've even begun. Any advice would be appreciated.

You probably don't have DHT and Peer Exchange disabled.

There's also of course the chance that it's just an unpopular torrent. In which case you get points for seeding anyway.

It's kickass.unblocked.ist - it's all local Thai nonsense ads, so I thought it might be some local bacterium or something ... I don't really know how any of this works.

It's a private tracker based mainly on UK tv shows. It also has a nice collection of fl episodes and series. It's fast, has decent content and a thriving community that's always helpful.

There's proxies for PB and KAT if you don't have a vpn....plus lots of decent streaming sites for film and tv who have the same material that torrent sites have....you should be able to access most gaffs.
