Looks pretty good that - would soften the lip colour slightly, so it is more skin coloured. With regards to the PS problem, it could be something to do with memory, usually it would say 'not enough memory to complete the action' or something like that. But occasionally it will give the message you describe.

PS sometimes requires that you operate on a HDD that has enough space to work with it's scratch file. I'm not really sure what it is, but I think it's basically backup for the actions you take when you're working in it, kind of like a memory cache. Photoshop states that it's recommended that you set it's scratch file on a separate partition on HDD in order for the program to work efficiently. Not doing so could cause the problem you're experiencing, along with others like crashing and lagging etc etc.

It's working fine now, but when i experienced the problem i was running quite a few things and the laptop i'm using is rubbish, but i'm getting a new one soon which should be able to cope with all the things i was running this morning really easily.

its alot of layers and splashes but the inspiration comes from the original photo and the movement.
