I am finally getting the chance to do this next Saturday morning
Can't wait!
Can you park at the ground on non match days or is it a case of just parking in the streets?
You can park in the ground in the Kemlyn car park on non-match days, unless it's full. If it is there is plenty of street parking around the ground.
Have been on the tour several times and it's good value. The last time was right after we played Chelsea and Maureen's team brifing was still up on the whiteboard in the away changing room. His scribbles showed how much he was concerned about Lil Luis, as everything seemed to be centred round him as the danger. Still got the picture, but don't think you can post them on here can you?
I used to take a busload of students by arrangement with the club years ago - early 80's -before tours were ever thought of and the biggest surprise when the official club tours started was how little things had changed.
What the lad above said about other tours is true though - on the tour of the Theatre of Dross, which I got roped into about ten years ago - you get to see pretty much the entire stadium- lounges, plush changing rooms, treatment rooms, offices, press briefing room, police security and stadum control rooms and the like. Their place is very flash and ostentatious compared to Anfield and of course it doesn't have the magic of THE SIGN.
