Naming Rights
« on: March 12, 2007, 02:29:57 pm »
Nobody asked Rick Parry about the name rights of the stadium, there is no way I would like it to be called 'the british airways stadium' or something like that, like arsenal for example, they lost there naming rights to the emirates (an arabic airline), should we not keep the name as 'anfield' or at least 'the new anfield'?

Good point, and one I'm surprised no-one has thought to discuss thus far.

 ;D

Maybe David Moores should get the naming rights ball rolling and sponsor the stadium to be called "Anfield" for the forseeable future. He's had a big cash injection recently i've heard....
It's awfully considerate of you to think of me here/ and i'm most obliged to you for making it clear/ that i'm not here
