I wonder if Triangle will be doing the day trips again with tickets included.

I think they were selling them to people with 0 credits for Barca, perhaps it'll be the same this time.

Do they hold people back after the game in the away end? There is a train back at 11.30 that I'd like to jump on back to the 'dam.
It is very likely that PSV will lay on a free train back to Amsterdam. That would leave from the special platform directly attached to the stadium by a bridge. You are of course free to chose another means of transport or stay in Eindhoven if you want. They've done this for all visiting supporters in European competitions this year I think. Saves a lot of hassle for everyone. I can ask the supporters club here for you to check if this is true this time around. You are likely to be held back around 20-30 minutes in the away end, but that depends entirely on the whim of the local boys in blue and of course the result. It's about a fifteen minute walk to the station. You can get train times at http://www.ns.nl although it is only in Dutch. The allocation is very small by your standards. It will be the minimum 5% Probably only 1600 or so again depending on exactly what safety rules the UEFA put in place for this match. That's all Arsenal got and the rest will certainly sell out. Sorry about the net in front of the away end. It was removed earlier this year, but then the galatasaray fans threw lit stadium flares down onto the home fans below.... so the net went back up next match. PSV have also recently become red hot about chasing and blocking any seats they see sold on the black market (especially after the turks visited). You have been warned: if you buy a seat on marktplatz.nl or ebay.co.uk and the seat numbers are visible in the photo on the advert, it will probably be blocked in the stadium entry system and the person who originally bought the ticket will get a stadium ban. Official match tickets should be around 45 euros or 30 quid, which is the equivalent price of tickets for locals at the other end. On a more positive note, we have found some interestingly priced flights coming the other way but they are few and far between: e.g. via Cologne+hire car www.easyjet.com. http://www.AirBerlin.com via Manchester & Duesseldorf is a possible option. Public transport to Duesseldorf is a pain (3 hours), but you can drive it in around an hour. Check out http://www.skyscanner.net for other odd options, like Duesseldorf Niederrhein (Weeze) NRN. This airport is actually nowhere near Duesseldorf. It is next to Nijmegen just over the border. Problem may be getting there early enough for the return check in. So if you have plenty of time on your hands and not much money..... Or another one that would be better without a car is to take a direct train to the Mancs or Leeds scum airport and then http://www.jet2.com to Amsterdam. http://www.bmibaby.com does some reasonable deals too from the midlands (e.g. Birmingham International). They are very good quality and I've used them a few times plus there are decent rail links at both ends. I wouldn't recommend Charleroi. It is a complete disaster to travel in Belgium if you don't have a car. If you do have a car it is about an hour and a half drive to Eindhoven. Plus of course there's the direct easyjet flight Liverpool to Amsterdam. But the bar stewards have caught on to champions league and have started putting the prices up on all flights around the scheduled dates even before the draw is announced. And you'll be glad to hear that from what I've heard they are having difficulty getting the prices up in Amsterdam's red light zone due to stiff competition.  ;)

I went with Triangle last time. Cost a mint, around £259. We flew into Brussels then an hour to Eindhoven on the bus. Left around 8am & got back about 2am. Price didn't include ticket either!

Shoulda said you wanted to come then...  instead of saying these past few weeks you weren't going QF home or away...

Was planned for days this attack on all the possible venues.  All it required was a 'click' when the dates were announced.

spooky isn't it.  I had the vlm flight on hold - the only one of the possible venues that I actually started to hold before the draw and  then only had to enter my credit card incorrectly several times until the exact date was announced ( in Dutch  on the psv site).

Try via London City Mark - may be well cheaper.
