Worthy of a petition?
« on: February 20, 2007, 11:04:23 am »
I've already asked the club to place webcams overlooking Stanley park while they build the stadium.  Tried pointing out the benefits for the club and fans.

How about people e-mailing the club

just want to nose, anybody else?

would be a nice idea, like they did with wembley. I'm sure we'd be updated though. I think arsenal has a section of their site which had pictures added every now and again of the stadiums progress.

But I do agree with Ben. Petitions are shite. Especially for something so trivial.

There should be 24 hour CCTV and 24 hour webcams so we can take it in turns to spot any tomfoolery from any local bitter Evertonians or Evertonians/Mancs who may be involved in constructing it who might attempt (while the boss isn't looking) to 'weaken' the project - like throw an Everton shirt in the cement thus weakening our stadiums foundations. ;)

To be fair, mate...go on Skyscrapercity.com and check out the Liverpool part of the UK forum.  It's full of people taking pics of work in progress in Liverpool and this is already attracting a lot of interest.

Reading the  Daily Star, and lashing the last bit of tea on the grass.
