They clearly haven't fully thought out the flight lines for chucking Vespas on that design.

When are they supposed to be moving there?  They'll never fill it anyway.

And also what the fuck is going on here at Southend

and here with a really bad San Siro copy at Cardiff

40,000?  Football's terminally ill.  Are they shit now?  I've not watched Serie A for years.
Sound as a pound!

That Valencia one is stunning - it looks like it's been designed by Daniel Liebeskind.

Christ knows they need it, Stade Velodrome is appalling.

So Marseille's new stadium 80,000, Atletico Madrid's 73,500, Valencia's 75,000, whilst Dortmund have 82,500, Bayern Munich have 69,500, Schalke have 62,000, Benfica have 65,000, AC and Inter have 85,500 and United have 76,000. Now we have the opportunity to redress this balance and what do we get? 61,000 that can't ever be increased in the future...will someone please remind me just who the fuck we are again?

well said. 'the idea is to compete with manchester'. By having 10.000 odd less supporters in the stadium every week?

I think this issue have been talked about many times in this boards before ... If LFC wants to stay in the Anfield area, the maximum capacity of the new ground can be 60.000 due to transportation and environmental limitations ... If we want 80.000 capacity ground, we can build it in Kirkby or some place like that ...

My personal favorite design:

http://www.worldstadiums.com/stadium_menu/past_future/pictures/future_stadiums/donetsk_shakhtyor.shtml

http://www.stadiumguide.com/shakhtarnew.htm

Imagine the noise level in that one.

I think that's horrible - more like an athletics stadium than a football ground. Rake looks too shallow and there's no sense of 4 stands. I like the animated build-up but it just emphasises what I said.

I think the Olympic Stadium in Bejing looks ace, without the running tracks off course.

Could have been interesting to see more pictures of the Stadium in South Africa as well.

Great stadium.

Yes I mean that one, but I would have liked to see more details on how it looked on the inside.
