Yes, I've been there. Excellent stadium which only superficially looks like our new ground.
If you're going to sign up on Betfair and fancy getting a free £25 on sign-up then use my refer code 749DCNQGK and I'll also get a £25 bonus ;)

Less seats than ours will have too.

Rushian, how do you think ours will compare to that?

Part of the visually striking aspect of that is the colour of the roof and some of the exterior.
we won't be allowed to use that as English Heritage have stipulated it must 'blend in' with the surroundings more.

Which means more dog shit and broken glass then i suppose  ::)

I actually hate the colour, I think it would look better silver like city of manchester.

Went for a chinese there before the Benfica game last year. They've got cinema's, bowling shops, bars, any type of restaurant you could wish for. Managed to sneak into the stands and have a mooch about too. If i remember rightly, they've got all the ST holders names embroided onto the seat cushions! Good idea in theory for the club to be generating money 24/7 like lisbons ground. Whether it could be sustainable in anfield i don't know though...

less overhang on the first and second tiers with a much bigger third tier down either side. Only the first tier on ours will go all the way around.

i cannot believe i did not notice this is the carbon copy environmental version of our stadium ;D

all of a sudden im starting to like our new stadium and it doesnt look as similar as arsenals ground. anyway i really wis we fill out the corners in the top tiers, it would look better and its hardly an unfeasable proposal is it.

I thought there was a comment from Parry saying they were going to try and keep a section of the ground for the Kop?  That suggested to me that there would be a bit of a redesign...  Cant find the quote now but I'm sure he said one end of the ground would be bigger than the other.

I was there for Euro 2004.  Sweden played Bulgaria there.  Very impressive.  The stadiums we saw in Portugal that year seemed to be of similar structure.

yeah you could get say 400 in each corner and i don't think those 4 corners are left vacated to support the roof, so it could be feasable.
