I'm in Brighton next week for a meeting. Any local reds recommend a decent place in town to watch the final? Don't think any play off games are on the same nighht
It's wonderful, it's marvellous, it's 3-3

I heard there's a chartered plane booked. 177 Chicago Reds are flying to Norwich specially for the game. Not sure if Delia Smith is providing advice on how to cook boiled eggs to the staff at Chicago's Norwich.

The Slug And Lettuce

Are you recommending it enough for it to be included in the list?

I don't see them slavering over the upcoming game and this post from 4th May doesn't fill me with hope:

The Slug, in Wimbledon has been pretty much Liverpool for all of the Europa games

We watched the semi-final in the Old Frizzle. Nice pub but too quiet from an LFC perspective.

To add to that, you can't actually sit directly in front of the big screen as there is a thoroughfare to the loos, meaning that you either sit very close, or to the side of it.

Good food and ale there though and the projector is massive.

Haven't lived there for a few years but the Lion and Lobster on the Hove side of town always used to be rammed for the big games, a great pub too!

Does anyone know how long F3K take to get back to you once you put a booking request in online?

Edit - or if they're likely to take a reservation for Wednesday?

So having failed to even get on the wait list for the game I am now looking for a pub in London. I am staying in Bankside (between London Bridge and Waterloo), any ideas on where to go given that I will struggle to get anywhere before 7pm? All guidance appreciated!

I'm thinking of going straight after work with mates.

Was at Roxy Bar for the League Cup Final. Had a good atmosphere. Would recommend if you don't know where to go.

To be honest Meady, I'd be getting over to F3K if you want that. Must hold a couple of hundred on a good matchday.

That looks like the best option but my lot all work/are based over east/north and I don't think they're going to react well to me suggesting we travel across central london to Chelsea at rush hour to watch the match  :)

I can't guarantee it will be the greatest atmos ever, but this place has absolutely massive screens and is mad popular with the Bundesliga crowd and is near Liverpool Street station (it's a sign). The atmosphere is amazing for German games, and they're advertising the match on their website. I love it and the food is also boss.

If it does draw a decent crowd, it will piss all over F3K to be honest. Much nicer gaff and is probably bigger too.
