Anybody going here for the Dortmund Game tomorrow? I'm torn between this, travelling to Husky's or going home for my usual stream...

(Great work, btw Callaghan! :thumbup )
Thanks, Anthony.

This fella goes there. Highly recommends it.
If you're ever in north London give the Shilelagh in Stoke newington a visit. Good little gang of exiled scousers in there for most games. And it's a proper decent old pub.

you might struggle in Soho but there used to be a pub on long Acre in Covent Graden that showed the footy, so you might try there. Good luck.

There is a thread on the first page that is a guide to watching Liverpool around the world.

http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=120287.0

I see there is no Italy. If you find somewhere, add it to this thread. I wonder if there is an Italy branch to the supporters club?

Edit: there is. Contact them. http://www.liverpoolitalia.it/

Or check this out: http://www.highlanderome.com/en/page/67/Live_Sports they have the game on. They seem to have every game on. Like I said, if it is good, add it to the around the world thread.
Italy's there: Europe: Israel to Wales

And Rome's been talked about a bit recently in here:
Any suggestions for watching the Reds while in Rome?
I'm there for the Cup Final against City, what a blunder  :butt
http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=120287.msg14470509#msg14470509
Thanks mate, ended up in Finnegans for it. Boss little pub

In Rome this weekend for the derby, any good pubs for our game on Saturday? I've seen some on the first page, Finnegans looks good.
Also check the scholar's lounge next to piazza Venezia and the abbey theatre, close to piazza navona.

I have a table booked at Nook Bar in Covent Garden for the match tonight, the last review for it on here seems to be from 2008 so I can let you all know how it is tomorrow.

I can also recommend the Walkabout in Temple as it’s where I watched last week’s game, quite a few Reds and Germans in there so it was impossible to get a table beyond 7pm even with the large amount of seats and tables. Loads of screens and floor space though. A fair few after work drinkers not interested in the football were hanging around too.

Been To Nook Bar few times myself, always thought it wasn't great for atmosphere, you're probably better off going down to Maple Leaf, or Walkabout again, both are down the road from Nook. I could be wrong though.

So as it turns out the Nook bar was pretty empty, good in some ways as we had no problem getting a table or served quickly but atmosphere was non-existent. Think we’ll try Maple Bar next time (was all booked up when we tried to reserve a table there earlier this week).

The lack of people also made sure I could get full-time Jagerbombs in with no queue :P

Where is the Nook?

Was in the Royal George near Euston which (DESPITE BEST MATCH EVER since 2005) was a bit shit, not too many Reds, screens weren't great, and it was a bit grotty overall.

Yes and I thought for a moment I had managed to break my nose in the melee at the end. :D

Quick tip, don't get sucked right to the back - there's a low beam in front of the TV so I spent the first half hour leaning over. Between that and what happened in the first 10 minutes I decided to change position to see if our luck would change...

Missed the pizza though - looked gorgeous...   :lickin

Go to Husky Bites Café, Amelia Street, SE17, close to Kennington and Elephant & Castle stations, will have a great atmosphere, and newbies more than welcome.

Thinking about going here for the final. What are the screens like? From all pictures it seems to be quite small?

I ended up going to Faltering Fullback in Finsbury Park, good but not great. Not pro Liverpool like the others.

Husky Bites is next on my list - will be there for the final. Was anyone there last night? I need to find a pub to watch the games in with other lunatics like me...

Anyone been in the Blue Eyed Maid for the past couple of Euro games? What's the atmosphere like? It's just up the road from my work and would be the most convenient option for the final. If not, Husky Bites sounds pretty good.

Husky's last night: https://twitter.com/KopRich90/status/728352444950974464

If you're in North London, I get the idea that The Auld Shillelagh (in Stoke Newington, N16) is the place to be.

That sounds ideal. I'm in Seven Sisters N15 so not too far at all. Would be nice to meet a few from here too.

As for the Final, it will be F3K for me. Like Lfsea said - it's just loads bigger than the others. Wanted to go to Husky's but no chance of getting there in time from West London.

Click on page 1 of this thread and you'll find links in the OP. Then click on south London.

It's near Kennington/London Bridge etc (SE1), I think, but in a completely different postcode. You'll see. Or Ctrl+F for husky on page 36 of this thread (unless you're on Tapatalk).

I'm looking at the Auld Shillelagh (where I was for Dortmund ;D ) or the Boulevard which is nearer home in Friern Barnet.

Has anyone been in the Boulevard lately? Been in there a few times with a mate but not noticed it as a particularly Red place...

The William Blake in old street would be a good shout if there are plenty of other red's going. Been in Husky's for the other games and it's a great atmosphere but bit like the Ruse for the final would need to get in so early which won't be possible with work.
