The Mill Road one?

A lot of my mates are season ticket holders there and go early / come back late for home matches but not every one can do that.

Yeah the Mill Road one.

Arrived about 6-30, immediately got on a bus to the ground and then was back on a bus at around 10-20 (having hung around in the ground for 20 mins or so after full time).

The whole thing was incredibly well run.

PS, I was fucking ace yesterday.

And modest!

How did we get on?
As noted earlier - me and my two boys were in the Arsenal Club seats above the traveling kop. My brother is an Arsenal supporter (he went to London Business School) and got us the tickets and hospitality package. He was so unhappy wondering how we got seats in the "Liverpool End" as he called it. :lmao

My son got a great video of you guys after Salah's goal. A win would have set things off - but I'll take the draw. (Same result as when I took them to Anfield last year in March for the 2-2 where Ibou should have won the game at the death).

You did well go park in it at 6.30.

Thought our support was amazing. Gomez song got a good airing!

Enjoyed hearing that ding dong in the first half with the Brighton fans.
Aye. Was great to listen to.

4 pints after the match with about 500?… Staying on to bevvy and watch city get knocked out.

I hope the FSA and the Anfield fat WAP, have something to say about this .

Brighton train station was fucking horrific last night, I got there about an 75/80 minutes before kick off and missed the first 10 minutes. There were still loads behind as well and we were getting absolutely no information at all from police or station staff. The train I was on that left about 10 minutes before kick off delayed boarding for so long that when the train doors eventually lit up people pushed the barriers over and caused a stampede towards the train. They're lucky no one was hurt.

We missed 32 minutes of the game having arrived at Brighton station at 18:55.  The train companies are not putting on enough capacity and the early kick-off made things worse, although Brighton fans were saying this is normal now and seemed quite resigned about it.  I was livid.  There was no way we could have arrived earlier on a weekday.  In a Green town, you'd expect better from public transport.

Luckily,  we don't seem to have missed much, and staying behind after for drinks and the City defeat was very civilised.

Met some proper power tripping people controlling the horrible metal barriers before train back to Brighton. Nothing short of rude and proud of it too. Brighton fans are sound, but this lot are an embarrasment.

Fans are making the difference this season. Similar situation today as at Brighton, we’re trailing and need a boost - and on both occasions the crowd stepped up massively.

Look at City yesterday, as soon as they go a goal down the fans give up. They expect a 4-0 win every game and sulk when they don’t get it, our support for the most part step up and push the team on.

Could really be the difference maker for us this season, as well as the boss footy team  ;)

We went in the late 70's in our trusty bread van, it wouldn't go much  over 50, set off Friday morning and went on the ale in Oxford Friday night.
We got beat by the same score as yesterday at the old Dell, Shanks used to call them The Ale House team.
Been twice since and I don't think I've seen us win there.

Personally i thought it was better the new corner end, than where we were before, but i remember when poetry in motion was getting its early airings and that sounded loud. However, i thought Sunday was banging most of the game. We got lost going home though and much to our amusement started seeing St Marys appear in front of us again after what seemed like a long walk. Funny how that can happen, as same thing happened in Leipzig. We got form.

Not sure if it came across on the telly, but thought it was magnificent throughout…went through the whole  repertoire with some fine “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” singing.

Pity only a few of the players properly came over at the end - got to love Mac.

Very noticeable on the telly! Even when Newcastle were ahead but especially after we went ahead.

Me mates seats were taken, of all things - by the anchoring system for the camera on a wire - the stewards said just stand at the front.
Good they still let the numbers in, not good it’s an after thought and last minute just to say stand over there somewhere.

What a pain in the arse being wrapped up against the elements, then having to deal with those stairs.
