"apparently" according to my spies...Liverpool are or have made an outline planning application to build a park a ride site on...subject to negotiation ( and I have to emphasise subject to )  .........Goodison Park!....( if the Blue shite move)

and class it is...btw an outline planing app' is basically what it says...a plan with an line drawn around a plot....and you don't even have to own the land!!...thing is though you do have to pay a hefty fee to have it dealt with by the LA

Wouldn't that be just park, surely people aren't that feckin idle that they can't walk a couple of 100 yards ?

Don't see the funny side to be honest Kev. If it happens it would mean Everton had their new ground up and running before us and that to me would be a mild humiliation given the resources available to the respective clubs.

It's all hypothetical isn't it really, but I'm assuming that we could have the planning application approved in theory even before Everton move.  However I do agree with you that we need to get our own house in order before gloating at our neighbours.
