Saturday Dec 21st
Liverpool v Flamengo
12:30 Pm Eastern
Fox Deportes ( No English live broadcast for the USA)

So fox sports 2 will show the semi final but they won’t broadcast the final?? That makes literally no sense ...

It will be shown on a delay at 5pm EST.

But that contract with the Orange Bowl Classic to show college basketball obviously comes first...

According to livesoccertv.com says it’s on fox network. I’m thinking that’s the main fox channel isn’t it?

Scheduled for December 11 through December 21, all of the games will be televised live on FOX Deportes. On English-language TV, the games will be shown across FS2 and FOX Soccer Plus except the final which will only be televised in Spanish. Reason being is that FOX Sports is broadcasting college basketball on FOX, FS1 and FS2 at the same time as the final, while FOX Soccer Plus will broadcast a Bundesliga match.

If NBC can not mention the score during the Leicester City game then I am cool with some non social media time and watch it delayed as if live. The worry is they will spoil the score during that game as we are obviously a huge part of the narrative of that game and it would seem to be happening simultaneously.

If you don't have coverage you can sign up for Fubotv's one week free trial. Just remember to cancel or you'll be out $55.

Or use your tv provider to get the Fox Sports Go ap , it might be streamed live on there.

Fox doesn't care about growing the game.  They are going to be just about out of showing football games next year when they lose the rights to Bundesliga.

My first experience with ESPN+. Signed up for the month to watch the FA Cup.

I like to sync the tv picture with Steve Hunter from LFCTV and their call of the match.

First half the ESPN stream had problems. Stopped a couple times and it takes a while to reset. So I got pissed off and switched from Chrome to Firefox to try that. Helped some.

Second half the video was about 20 seconds ahead of LFCTV. By the 70th minute the picture was lagging behind. What the hell is that? So I used my mouse to hit "live" and the video jumped ahead of the radio broadcast again.

Why should a stream slow down in such small increments to eventually catch up with a radio broadcast?

Now the video never looked like a problem but obviously there was one.

I signed up Friday, tried streaming some of yesterdays matches and had similar results of the video feed freezing.

Speed test..ping 9ms, Download 86.11, upload 5.94.

Which is about my average, Download ranges from  mid 70's to mid 80's.

So should be fast enough to handle ESPN+ I would think...

Any ideas or recommendations?

I watch it on a roku connected directly to my tv and haven’t had any problems with buffering or the game jumping around. I don’t try to coordinate it with a radio broadcast so don’t know how that works.

Depending on which is further ahead...pause it and wait for the other to catch up. No problems. And it's nice to listen to LFC commentary rather than the broadcasters who spout shite half the time..lol

I can stream LFCTV, Youtube TV, Disney plus, etc with no problems but ESPN +...

And i've tried two different laptops. One Windows 7, one Windows 10. Makes no difference with ESPN+.

I'll watch the Manc derby in the Cup in a bit and i'm expecting not to have a 90 minute match without problems on ESPN+. It will be the only thing streaming on any of my devices.

Also  not confident our match is on ESPN+.

In the UK, BBC1 is showing the Oxford v Newcastle. That's the only match available in the UK.

Even BeIn sports, with their multiple channels, aren't showing our match that I can see.

So it might be audio only from the Lfc website.

The game is shown internationally only on LFCTV GO, as far as I can gather, unless you're in some of the other countries listed at the site below.

If you bought a BR season pass for Champions League then LFCTV is thrown in for free. I just looked at the LFC TV schedule and sure enough it’s audio only, even for UK subscribers. Does seem odd considering the game on LFCTV at the moment is the U23 game. I wonder why there are no cameras.

There's going to be camera's there as it seems it's being shown live in other countries according to the link that was posted earlier.  Really hoping that there is a decent stream out there.  Maybe Klopp can share the stream he'll be watching the game on with us.

LFC offer free audio only for every senior team match.

No live senior match ever has picture and audio to stream due to broadcast rights..

If you subscribe to LFCTVGO...they do stream live some U23, U18, and Womens matches.
