Beat the high defensive offsides trap from 35 yards out..went in on goal..rounded the keeper and slotted easily home. Ran pretty good for a chubby fella..

Well done to Ronaldo. A fantastic finisher over the years, and still got the quality, even if too much else is missing.

Just think how good he'd be if he lost six stone...  :o

And that's why he's the real Ronaldo. Cristiano, take note, that's a proper stepover.

The most funny parts of this world cup is to listen to all the laughable pundits and jounalists who slaughtered Ronaldo in the first match, only to wank over him now.

They can all fuck of with their cheap points and hunger for headlines!!

Spot on, that was the simplest little chip over the goalie, or even a square ball to Ronaldo. He wanted to do what Roanldo did though.

;D "hunger for headlines!" Was that intentional?

I don't see anything wrong with saying someone is fat and playing shit when they are fat and playing shit. Just because he is playing well now doesn't detract from the fact that he was abysmal against Croatia.

Ronaldo himself said he wasn't at his best the first match.

Brazil only had one warmup friendly match which people in Brazil were wondering why they didn't get in 3 like most other World Cup sides.

He's better now though..

Brazils manager Parreira said before the World Cup..you don't win the World Cup by playing friendlies. He wanted the team to get fit and build their success during the Cup..

Maybe he was right..;)

Ronaldo was both poor and very, very fucking lazy in that game. That he's improved since then and still has quality is no surprise but it's hardly laughable to point out fact.

P.S. Does anyone else think the ITV pundits are patronising Ghana way, way too much?
Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani...

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.
