i wouldn't say either are embarrasing to admit, neil diamond was a great song writer, had a good conversation with david james about neil diamond (i was shocked when he said he was a fan), and the temptations, i must admit it's not one of their better songs but hardly something you couldn't admit to liking for fear of being called 'unclean'

Baltimora - Tarzan Boy

Little trivia on this that I found while looking for the name of the artist

Baltimora is the name not of a band, but was the pseudonym of Jimmy McShane. I am told that he died of AIDS in the early '90s, though I have not confirmed this. Baltimora's lone hit was "Tarzan Boy" which can still be heard occasionally in the US as the music to Listerine commercials.

Update - according to an email received from a viewer of this site, "Jimmy McShane Did die of AIDS on 3-28-95 at the age of 37. He was born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland on 5-23-57" (steve).

Hehehe when me and some mates went to the Roskilde festival a few years ago .. we filled a couple of cds' up with Spice Girls and what was that other girl band with that Applegate or whatever her name is songs and used to blast them out in the evening much to the annoyance of the Marilyn Manson fans in the tents next to us .. ;D
