New Chant for tomorrow
« on: May 12, 2006, 10:31:09 AM »
This is in responce to their Sign On Sign on chant...

They're for ever blowing chances,
Preety chances here and there,
They try so hard, don't reach the sky
AND JUST LIKE THEIR DREAMS THEY FADE AND DIE

FORTUNES ALWAYS HIDING, They've looked everywhere,
They're for ever blowing chances,
Preety chances here and there.

I'm forever throwing bottles
Pretty bottles in the air
They fly so high
Nearly reach the sky
Then like West Ham
They fade and die

Tottenham's always running
Chelsea's running too
And if you come to Anfield
We'll be running after you

I'd rather hear our fans supporting the reds.

Oh because we've never sung songs to the opposition eh?

Roper spot on as usual. Maybe change it to "Cardiff" in the second last line though eh?

I don't like the trend for taking the piss out of Chelsea when we're not playing them but banter with other teams is to be expected.

Don't get the idea, really. "Bubbles" is an ironic song in any event.

Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you -
Ye are many - they are few." Percy Bysshe Shelley
