David Lynch:
Liverpool’s recent deals with Google, Peleton and now UPS understood to be worth around £35m.

Think this really is a key area to grow, especially if we want to compete with the biggest names in football commercial sponsorship like Man City...

  ;D

they could earn trillions from seats sponsorships. tickets sold out every game but unfortunately the traffic is really bad that their fans cant make it. imagine the cameras panning to the empty seats with the sponsors logo. Could be a big money spinner for their worldwide fan base.

I'm not so sure about this. They do come with a lot of baggage.

Did someone from the club sign the deal, or did the UPS guy just take a picture of it at the Anfield door?

Seems quite a lucrative package, the kind of deal that's become part and parcel of the club, hopefully UPS can deliver long term for the club.

That's pretty impressive, we should be not far off £300 million in commercial revenues.

All 3 are American companies, wonder if they also have deals with the Redsox?

Nothing to do with footy, admittedly, but I hate the colour brown with a passion.......

Brown is the UPS company's brand logo.

When UPS sponsored the Ferrari Formula One team they plastered their brown logos all over the cars, ruining the look of the traditionally all-red cars.

Having a 3rd footy kit in purple will be bad enough, but adding a brown logo to it will be intolerable !

They laugh at me because I'm different.

The club will utilise UPS’ extensive logistics experience and expertise, with UPS supporting LFC’s global retail and e-commerce channels, allowing the Reds to deliver a better fan experience and getting official merchandise into the hands of supporters quicker and more efficiently than ever before.

But can they get official merchandise into the hands of supporters more rapid?

You think we're getting £35m annually for a sponsorship that doesn't appear anywhere on our kit?

City could get double that from a ME shell company with no employees that won't appear anywhere on their kit. ;)

The £35m came from reports totalling the Google Pixel, Peloton and the UPS deals. It’s not clear whether that’s annual or over the length of the contracts.

kind of a small sum when compared to Abu Dhabi's similar deals with Al-Search engine, Al-Bicycle, and Al-delivery service - totaling £350m
