The fucking pitch and ref are a shambles. Tsimikas cant get his head around the uneven surface. We still have had enough openings to be at least level. Konate had a mad half needs to be more assertive. Alisson saves that shot 10 times out of ten it was nowhere near the corner.

If we are going to constantly go on about how we will use this competition initially to play a number of new and non regular players, then we cant moan if we see disjointed performances. The performance was as expected but we will probably still win.

I thought Endo looked good... twice he was tracking the runners from midfield and cutting the chances we would have conceded last season. He is doing his job.

Bajcetic is not a RB and I would bring on Gomez. Tsimikas hasn’t been much better.

Our midfield has been pathetic and I would hook all 3.

Diaz and Doak have looked good at times but no end result yet. Nunez has been ok and was a bit unfortunate not to score.

Their goal was really poor defending. Those sort of goals are down to players not being aware of where the danger is.

I think we only had one shot on target which is so poor. Lask must be delighted as we have been very poor.

Yes the midfield are learning to play together but we are 1-0 down and I think we need to get a grip of the game. The bumpy pitch doesn’t suit our passing style of play. I still think we’ll win.
