And that's why we need multiple midfield signings. Thiago just can;t stay fit.
Which is why the Mac Allister links make sense.

Get the impression unless there’s another injury crisis we won’t see the likes of Ox and Naby again as they are leaving. Who is this Arthur you speak of?

Not including an option to cut Arthur’s loan short was a huge oversight. Having a laugh and joke with Guardiola after their equaliser at the Eithad is his biggest moment here.

Signing Thiago was always a risk considering his horrendous injury record before joining us. When he’s fit he’s world class but he’s also a ticking time bomb when it comes to injuries

Well results not gone out way, but not a massive surprise given the fixtures. Just need to get the 3 points and move on to the next.

Starting midfield is…interesting.

Is that a back four with Porro and Davies at full back? Didn't go so well against Newcastle, that...

Incredibly lightweight midfield from us, but at least Diaz and Konate are back!

Good to see Diaz back, looking forward to seeing him.

Tierney as the Ref though and Coote on VAR, fucking hell.

Which is why the Mac Allister links make sense.

We need a bunch of proper hard grafters in our midfield next season. Lads who will cover every blade of grass and punish the opposition physically. Sounds like a Sam Allardyce wet dream that but a bit of backbone in the middle will give the space for the flair players (similar to Ferguson's best Utd teams, or Wenger's Arsenal, mixing British brute strength with technical flair).

Too pretty and tame at the moment (aside from Hendo and Milner, but they're getting on). Let's get back to hard as nails midfield generals.

Be great to see Lucho running rings around them again.

Even though the results didn't go for us today, lets smash Spurs anyway.
