Yeah it was one of those bright ideas to appease people saying big clubs should have a second team in the lower divisions ala Spain, but just ends up with 17/18 year olds playing grown men and getting bullied.

Doesn't help that it usually falls in international weeks or League Cup. This week half the team who'd play will be needed on our bench on Wednesday so will be a mismatch.

It's only worthwhile if we get to put a strong under 21 side out (i.e. Shrewsbury in the FA Cup that time).

Are many away fans likely to make the trip for this? I live nearby so considering going but don't fancy standing on my own too much.

Think that Papa John dude was booted from the company no? Dominos also has/had some dodgy right wing anti-abortion connections.

Their site says cash on the door and their is a Liverpool section,i was looking to see if it's gonna be streamed but it's a tenner,blah.

Yeah the Papa John founderwas forced out after a teleconference call scandal a few years ago.

The Domino's owner is also a Trump supporter, endorsed him for the 2020 presidency.

Talk of a few of seniors being involved later, as with the 21’s the other day, seems to be Carvalho, Arthur and Phillips. Throw Bajectic in the mix too now, I guess.

Fair few of the younger lads all away on international duty.

Making use of the competition for a change with our better prospects involved. It's usually a bunch of 17 year olds who get turned over.

With it being on an international break we'll probably lose a few who'd play otherwise though.

Rochdale are showing it on their website (for a price). Looks like it'll be on 'iFollow Dale' too, so those with an IPTV provider who includes those EFL channels might be able to get it. Mine has 3 Rochdale channels but not live at the moment, will check it out tonight though.

We rarely do, and with the team we put out, it would be a great achievement for the youngsters. Temper your expectations somewhat, this is nearly entirely a team of youngsters (and not even our best U21 team)

Poor game but holding our own. Bajcetic looks the part. Young players probably not on Arthur's wavelength, the play is too slow.

Don't know why we even enter it. Matches always fall around things like international week so most of the under 21s aren't even available if they're with their national sides and the game before many were in the first team squad the same night.
