Hotel for Hull game - Saturday 24th September

So I have decided to bring my 6 year lad to the game this weekend, first time he will be in the Kop, but I cant find a hotel at a decent price. 

Is there something going on in Liverpool this weekend?

Yeh, Liverpool v Hull...

Cheapest seems to be the Holiday Inn Express by the Airport - £80

Cheers.....I did mean apart from the game  ;D

Just the hotels seem a lot more expensive than they have in the past and availability seems a lot more scarce than usual........or is it just the extra 8000 people now at the games?!?!

Whenever i've stayed in Liverpool over i use air bnb. Cost about 40 quid and get a fair decent room and shower. Does the job.

I have hired a ford focus or similar at Liverpool airport for 13 euro through auto Europe and 44 pounds for the travelodge in St Helens

Labour Party Conference starts on the 25th
Liverpool Psych fest 23rd and 24th
Universtities starting which no doubt brings in parents dropping off kids and staying over
Plus 8000 extra seats sold in the new stand no doubt lots of them going to  OOT visitors

Wish I'd built a hotel about 3 years ago..

You could look at hotels in manc? Easy to get to Piccadilly and there's loads more hotels.

Also Chester may have a decent range of hotels and its on the merseyrail network, £5.20 saveaway for you and about £2.50 for your lad. Covers you for Soccerbus to and from Sandhills station too. Hope he enjoys it.
