It is. But he's been sacked now anyway.

Doubt anyone else will take a gamble on him now and he'll retire.

Yeah but I think technically as it stands he could walk into another club and begin playing again, bit crazy if he does.

So he's been banned for 7 months, is that just in Uefa competitions?? Surely not.

EDIT: I see he has also left the club now too. Though I would think he will be banned from all competitions for a while.

Found some of the excuses for him remarkable.

'The fans were saying he's not fit to wear the shirt, they told him to fuck off, he's frustrated because he's not been playing well'

This stuff is what every single professional player goes through, and how many respond by kicking their abuser in the head? There's not even been a suggestion that the fan said anything particularly inflammatory as far as I'm aware. Evra shouldn't even be allowed in France after WC2010.
