I don't get this extreme sense of abandonment when it comes to Cissokho. The manager must have seen something on the training ground to give him a shot. It is not as if he has not shown any ability in his career ever. Let's hope he is up to it today!

Hardly a ringing endorsement of Cissokho by Rodgers:  (Flanno is out injured) "... so that gives Cissokho a chance"
Well what's he going to say?

"I realise I've been playing a youth player ahead of him in a bid to avoid any horrific errors, but I have to tell you that Cissokho is a world class full back!"

Fear not, Hart is in goal.

City panicking, fielding an injured Zabaleta.

It's not pathetic, think of what a pasting today would do to our confidence ahead of a match I feel we're more suited to get something out of next.

So you're content with a loss in general? You should never be content with a loss.

On the other hand, think how much confidence that gives Flanagan

Today should be a good indicator of where we stand. Not many teams (if any) will get a result at the Eitihad.

Worst case scenario today still has us sitting in the top 4. Let's get after them and see how things shake out.

lol.for the first time in a long time we can go and relax and play our own game and not worry about the result affecting us too much, its obviously more about what city do but we shouldnt be too far off them if we play the same as last few games.win would be a dream, draw good and a loss largely expected by everyone bar us.

Cissokho is much better than kelly  especially against navas. Kelly tends to have the movement of someone like dan agger when he plays left back.

They're both natural centre backs to be fair, although Kelly always seemed quick to me

I've got a feeling both teams will get something out of this, I certainly don't see either side dominating.
