Aspas. He's come in for a low fee amongst quite a few other signings in what was quite a protracted deal with very little fanfare, given what I've heard from the likes of Sid Lowe. Graham Hunter et al he could prove to be a very shrewd signing indeed. Let's hope so.

5th, things came together toward the end of last season and there's a lot of instability above us but I still don't think the squad are mentally strong enough to pick up points when they need to do, as such I think we'll finish just short of 4th.

A difficult question to answer as it seems that Suarez is on the way out, should he stay I imagine it'll be him and should he leave I imagine we'll get in someone to replace him. I will say however that it won't be Sturridge.

Depending on our movements in the transfer market I can see Allen having a good season next season. Our midfield set up last season made him almost surplus to requirements. I think when Rodgers bought him the idea was to play Gerrard at the apex of a midfield 3 with Allen being the link man between Gerrard and Lucas, the same as his role at Swansea. Lucas picked up an injury and Allen was forced to cover for him, then by the time Lucas was fit Gerrard was entrenched in a deeper position. If we bring in a number 10 I'd be very surprised if Allen doesn't feature heavily next season, whether that will be at the expense of Gerrard or Lucas that remains to be seen.

I like the types of characters we are looking to bring in, I hope this will address some of the mental fragility but we need better players too, the team has definitely suffered from being too lightweight at times in midfiel- so If we don't add at least 3 genuine top class players in addition to Aspas, Alberto, Toure + Mignolet to date we won't get 4th
