His agent speaking on SSN, wanting people to give him a second chance.

Fucking cringeworthy.

I think it's inevitable he'll get a professional contract not long after he's out.  There was that WBA striker (his name might be Hughes?) who killed someone in a hit-and-run and then hid from the police for a week or so.  Didn't take long for Oldham (I think) to give him a deal; if they think someone will put points on the board for them then morality doesn't exist in football.

To be fair pal he probably was, I just caught a min or two. King can go and swivel as far as I'm concerned.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if TalkShite had a particular moral stance on this considering who it employs as one of it's main presenters?

This morning they were discussing King on the breakfast show getting all high and mighty saying King should not be allowed to play and one caller mentioned said presenter and they immediately cut him off.

So I guess the answer is yes they have a high moral stance for King but not for their presenter.

Collymore

ah, i see

Personally I will never forgive the guy for what he has done, but he has supposedly served his time and so should be allowed to go and work as and for anything that pleases him and his employer.

This whole arguement about whether he should be allowed after what he did, to me is pointless, he did his time, the arguement however may be more on the fact of the fine, or the time imprisoned.

Wonder how his bottom is.

The interview on SSN was very awkward. Mainly for the presenter who had to talk King's agent, who was defending him.

Any other profession, with his criminal record and the fact he's on/going on the sex offernder's regist, he'd never get a job again but good old football provides him with a luxurious livelyhood and a platform to carry on his toxic lifestyle.

Of course he'd get another job if he was in 'normal life'. People with criminal records do work you know ::)

He will get another club, be hated by most of his team mates, and hopefully fail miserably. The c*nt.

I said profession, not walking in Macdonalds or earning minimum wage. Horrible c*nt shouldn't be given the oppurtunity to earn massive amounts of money, he's had a huge string of offences and second chances numerous times.

He surely will get ripped to shreds in side.

if he has the money he claims to have he will buy security and don't forget it's nothing new to him.

I do love the "do you know who I am" brigade I was standing in a Que many years ago now, I think it might have been Southampton ground and standing behind us was Alan Ball, he tried to jump the Que and then he was told in no uncertain terms to move back to where he had started then came the ("Do you know who I am) a chorus of "Yes fuck off"  we didn´t see him again
"Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and making yourself available to receive a pass, it is really that simple"

According to what it says in that BBC-report it wasn't just an everyday car-crash. "The former footballer, who was eating an ice cream bought from McDonald's moments earlier, then slammed his brakes on in frustration, forcing Mr Beck to perform an emergency stop. A third car crashed into the back of the Polo, pushing it into the back of King's Porsche." That doesn't sound like an accident to me. He forced to other guy to stop and someone crashed into his car as a result of that leaving two people injured. Had King not done what he has done according to the ruling in the court none of that would have happened. And if you take this "The Jamaican international has a number of other convictions, including dishonesty, drinking and driving and other motoring offences, including a prison term for handling a stolen car, while playing for Gillingham in 2002." into account, the sentence makes sense in my view...

Yeah, he was weaving in and out of traffic, and then undertook (undertaked?) some guy, pulled out in front of him and then slowed right down meaning the guy behind had to slam on his brakes.  He also tried to drive off.

He's a fucking bell.

Haha, no I was actually doing about 80 in the fast lane when it happened, just some twat decided to have a "laugh" at my expense I think by slamming his brakes on and then speeding off.

The car in the middle lane next to me didn't come off too well either though after I'd bounced off the centre barrier and spun into him!
