Pill's n Thrills is a brilliant album, still listen to it regularly now. Without doubt the best band of the Madchester years, fucking good live too.

The club mix of Hallelujah though, just turn it up as loud as you can.

Saw them in Widnes Parr Hall and then a couple of weeks later at Liverpool Uni around '89-ish.

They were thrilling and shambolic back then, must have been just prior to Pill and Thrills coming out.

Yeah, I was also at both of those shows and several others around that time including their first Gmex one. This was a groundbreaking band at the top of their game . Either that or the Es were just so good 😊
