With the publication date of "Golden Past, Red Future" nearing at an alarming pace (it goes to press shortly after I return from Istanbul, having completed the review of the final), we felt it was time to put up a (partial) sample chapter on the book's website.

The sample chapter deals with this season's Premiership campaign, and what went wrong (not to mention the delicate issue of Everton), although certain sections of this chapter have been kept back for the book, including the look at the successful games.

Just to change the subject slightly for a min, what would make a class book was if all the pre/in/post match threads on here were printed out into a book for each game this season. Would make great reading.

Not sure about great reading - "interesting", I would say! Plenty of great comments, but lots of "this is fucking shite, Luis Garcia is crap" etc, etc...

Well Yeah, Suppose interesting sums it up better . Probably would be better if you just stuck to the cl games as a whole season is a bit much and it would cut out most of the "Garcia is shite .." etc stuff from the prem games. Obviously alot of it depends on if we win that big cup in Istanbul but worth a thought. Ta
