Topic: Will CL qualifier clash with Real Tourny??

Someone mentioned the possibility of this today, and I became a little disturbed. [nothing new there then eh?!]

Can any1 answer these questions for me ??

1. Now there are 4 CL qualifying places available, does third place still need to go through the qualifying round or is that just fourth now?

2. Anyone know when the CL qualifier date is? Roughly begining of august wasn't it last year?

3.Are we 100% definately entered in Madrid Tourny?

4. Not a question, but I fucking hope that it doesnt all go pear shaped as we've just forked out £133 for flights and £70 ish for accomadation. Be a nice holiday anyway, but i want the redmen to be there......rather was the point of the trip.

Somebody please put my mind at ease or at least let me know if you know anything.

Any 1 else bought flights yet??

We WILL NOT play in the Madrid tournament because we WILL finish 3rd.  We need United to drop 3 points in their last 2 games.

Unless Arsenal beat Man United at their home ground, which I don't think will happen.

I mean the players cannot complain starting the season early because the 2nd is up there for the taking but they just don't want it more than (what) Spurs.

Now surely the Blackburn game can be switched back to the 5th May??

I was asking PaulR the editor of the .tv site about this earlier and his response was

"I think we won't enter if we finish third but that's just my opinion. It's NOT fact and until the club confirm one way or the other, I don't know. As soon as the club confirm what they're doing, we'll put it on the site. "

I think I'll hold off on booking anything as well

what gets me is how come the mancs have confirmed they are playing in dam the same dates as madrid but we are waiting to see who finnishes third.are they being agrogant again or are liverpool messing the fans about again.four of us are booked up so come on liverpool believe in yourself and give the fans a weekend in madrid.
