We looked absolutely miles better, much more like ourselves

Yes we gave away a couple of chances but that's nothing new even when we were at our absolute best... it's easy to forget we were 1-0 up against AC Milan and   they went infront

Think it's a great performance and result for us to end with before the break. Wolves and Chelsea being off can only be a good thing for us at the moment, we've got lucky in that respect

Fully expect us to qualify no problem now - win the double header against Rangers and we are almost there

Results.

If Hendo's shot against Fulham had flown in...
If Carvalho's volley against Palace hit the back of the net...
If Salah's shot against Everton hit the post and went in..

If the above happened, we'd be flying confidence-wise. We weren't great in the first few months of the 19/20 season but we kept clinging on and that really boosted our confidence.

This is far too simple. Our tactics have been mad this season, whether it was a conscious decision by the coaching staff or players just getting it very wrong. We weren't great at times through our brilliant runs, but we at least played in a coherent way. For all those examples you give, the opposition had at least one miss that could have taken the game away from us.

Tuesday saw us coming back to what we know. We had players pressing as a team, Diaz was leading the press quite a few times, and players organising between themselves to cover spaces in the press. Thiago and Fabinho much quicker to the midfielders to ensure they can't knock balls past the defence. Attack seemed a lot more fluid and playing together. Still slight issues on the ball meaning space is there for counter attacks, but it was much much better and gives the team something to build on.

We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

We found our MoJo again, or rather our MoJoel

I quite liked how it was case of "What your Mohammed can do, our Mohammed can also do" for much of the game, before we nipped in with a "But we also have a Matip and no-one else on Earth has one of those unique, inimitable, alien giraffe fiends"
"Every man has a right to utter what he thinks truth, and every other man has a right to knock him down for it."
Samuel (not Glen) Johnson, as reported by James (not Joey) Boswell. They must have foreseen RAWK ;D

FC Kφln and Ingolstadt did for many years, but I do believe Joel’s big brother Marvin retired a couple years ago  :P

Marvin Matip definitely sounds like a superhero alter ego :)
