A deserved lead. Ref has been an embarrassment. Barnes and Praet getting nothing for ridiculously high and aggressive tackles, while Maddison and Tielemans getting a freekick whenever they fall to the floor. Milner on the other hand was the victim of more than one over the top tackle. The Fabinho booking was laughable.

He can barely keep up with the action, just when you feel refereeing has reached its worst you see an even more appalling performance. The goal came at the right time though as we lost a bit of composure just before.

That was a great half from two teams that play the game the right way. Highlights for me were Mane:s defensive contributions, Lovren playing very well, Soyuncu is annoyingly good. I'll take him as fifth choice.

Especially our right flank looked absolutely glorious at times,you just need to gasp every time Sadio gets on the ball and TAA was marauding up and down with some great passes,one of them really should have resulted with a goal,Degsy was really good too.

It’s exceptionally irritating how handling him by his neck and stuff has seemingly just become an accepted rule in this league. It’s bizarre, he’s gonna have to start doing some UFC training to protect himself.

Milner should've at least troubled the keeper with his chances but Salah has laid off the ball well a few times while getting man handled by two guys and made a great run for Fabinho to pick out I think his been ok personally better than his last couple of PL games.
