Well that was total garbage.

The level of Mane and Wijnaldum has really dropped in recent games, and Can has been pretty poor and all. The midfield just isn't affecting the game at all and the forwards aren't really helping.

Ejaria has been a class apart. Really excited about him.

I was thinking the same re: Mane.   He seems to have lost the explosive first few steps that he had earlier in the year.  He's been working extremely hard for us this season, so not surprising there is a bit of a dip.

Moreno plays. Isaacs talks bollocks.
Sunrise. Sunset.

Moreno has been decent and has provided good support down the left.

Good support? getting the ball then passing it backwards every time? he offers nothing going forward and was lucky not to get caught out with Leeds best chance... there's a reason Milner is first choice now. copare him to the guy on the other flank for us, brave, intelligent, trying to get forward, total opposite of Moreno.

Feel as if we'll win this with the necessary kick up the backside from Klopp at halftime, particularly to Can and Wijnaldum.

How can you blame the weather mate? Is it 10 degrees warmer in the Annie road end?

Not blaming the weather - it was sarcasm - no appetite to sing or chant here - not sure if this is normal in this stand - I normally sit in the anfield road end!

I don't think we need Stewart. Only really plays the ball back and sideways and hasn't been much cover when they break. Grujic would be my alternative and put Can in Stewart's place.

move the ball quicker or we're going out as they will grow even more confident!!!

Or they'll get tired and we'll end up winning easily?
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

I wonder if Grujic gets on earlier than Jurgen has planned.

I am in the lower centenary stand - have a headache from the Leeds fans! We have been very quiet from the stands tonight - is it the weather?!

No, not the weather. It's the different mentalities of the fanbases, sadly.

Can seems so slow, physically but also in his decision making.
Carra is absolutely spot on, he needs too many touches. Playing in tight spaces is not doing him any favors.

...and I imagine there's a dressing room in Liverpool with a German manager breaking furniture so we'll probably win.
I can totally imagine that scene.

Can't see us winning this easy sorry it has penalties all over it.

I think it's been quite a good game without it being a good game. I can't quite work that one out either, but seems to sum it up for me. Leeds have been noisy and pretty decent... we've worked well, and you can see some good ideas, but it often dies out. Just need some joined up writing for a period.

Spot on, bit disjointed and no surprise there.

Some stupid fuckers in every half time thread. Jaysus!

Half time?
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Leeds have been working incredibly hard. Reckon they tire and we win it in the end - although we haven't exactly covered ourselves in glory so far (though not as awful as reading this thread would have you believe).
Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani...

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.

Good support? getting the ball then passing it backwards every time?

Sometimes players go backwards because there's not a forward pass on.

Sometimes it's the fault of the forward players for not making themselves available

Sometimes it's good defending, blocking off the passing lanes so you need to go backwards when under pressure.

Sometimes it's hard to see all this when you are watching a very small amount of the pitch on your TV.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

Will win this comfortably. We will be clocking up 70-80% of the possession from around 60 mins and that will eventually lead to a few goals.
