The Race For 20th Spot
« on: October 3, 2016, 08:42:03 pm »
For me, Sunderland are leading the race to get relegated. David Moyes appears to have mastered the art of not only playing hideous football to watch - but routinely racking up those all important 0 pointers.

Burnley, despite beating us, I believe will also be in the mix for Aston Villa's coveted title.

Finally - my surprise pick is Southampton, despite their reasonable start. Surely losing their two best players every single season is EVENTUALLY going to have a long term impact?

Aaaand profuse apologies if there's already a relegation thread

Sunderland are doing exactly what Aston Villa did.

They've dodged the trap door for a few years now, and you can't dodge it forever.    Eventually, it catches you.

I recon Moyes will be gone by Christmas, if not a lot sooner.

Plus two from, West Ham, Hull, Burnley and  Middleborough.

Stoke look very shaky. Can see Joe Allen moving to a better class of mid table club. To be honest Everton could do with him. Seriously.

I think Burnley might just stay up. Dyche isn't a numpty and they have added a bit of quality in the middle with the addition of Steven Defour. They deserved something against Arsenal and I think they might scrape enough wins at home to stay up.

Sunderland are gone already, they have no chance of staying up. I've said it before but Moyes will jump ship long before he technically takes them down. Hull had an OK start but they haven't really kept it up and they lack the quality required over a 38 game season to get enough points. As for the third team to go down? I have no idea. I think Stoke will get their act together and finish mid-table, they always seem to start slow and they do have some decent players. If they can get Bony firing then they will be fine.

Sunderland, Hull and one of Swansea, West Ham and Middlesbrough for me.

Sunderland are 20th, nailed on, they'll do extremely well to even get 20 points, their squad is horrific and the attitude of the players is disgusting. They'll no doubt spend some money on no marks from Man Utd reserves again in January but that wont be enough. Hull will go too as they're just complete shit.

Hopefully Swansea fuck off too. Or Middlesbrough.

(Assuming West Ham isn't realistic, I'd celebrate for a week if them tory c*nts dropped and we were the ones to do it on our last away!)

Hull have 1 point from the last 5 games. Whilst they won their first 2, that seems a very long time ago now.

Sunderland 20th, dreadful side, lucky they've worse teams than them the past few season but they'll be gone this season, & could finish with a worse record than 07-08 Derby who finished with 11 points.

Hull.

Think we might get a surprise one which could be Stoke or West Ham both currently in the bottom 3.

Sunderland, Hull, Swansea
They all have new managers with poor squads.

West Ham has some injuries right now. They will improve
Stoke will not panic and bin Hughes. They have some talent in the squad.

Burnley is poor, but a real team built by a secure manager. They are vulnerable, but the 3 with manager and squad deficiencies are my bet to go down.

I think it's going to be Middlesbrough, Hull and Sunderland.
Last resort if you need tickets in Switzerland.
