Alex Kacaniklic
« on: March 30, 2012, 07:20:15 pm »
One of the players i really liked over the last few years from our youth, thought it was a great shame we didnt sign him up i think he was part of a swap deal for Koshelney... he seems to be pulling up roots at Watford on loan, apparently Derby had no answer to his pace on the wings FML!!!,

Anyway he's been recalled by Fulham and he's in the squad for the Norwich game tomorrow, have to watch that just to see what were missing..

If you cant remember him maybe this cracker against Arsenal may job your memory...

Better than Downing.

Not really like, but thought I'd say it for any other bells who might want to.

Always liked him when he was with us. Was more often than not a complete menace down the left wing. Part of possibly the worst deal I've seen in my living memory. Kacaniklic + Dalla Valle + £4million for Paul Konchesky. Still can't believe it!

Glad to see he's doing well for himself anyway.

in an ideal world we would have given him a couple of games and then sold him in the range of 5-6m.

but no we give him for free  :butt

His name is Kacaniklic.

Looks to have come on well. A lot more than Dalla Valle so far. I thought it at the time and still do now. The move we made for Konchesky (cash, plus those two players) is one of the daftest moves in recent history.

Stupid move by the previous regime. I hope, but doubt, they have a sell on clause in his contract.

Hows Delle Valle getting on there? Anywhere near the first team?

Was at Exeter City on loan I think last year, no squad number in this.

Dalla Valle was at Dundee United last year.  Not sure if it was a loan or a permanent deal.  Dont think he made much of an impact.  Was a good finisher for us but didnt really see him making it here.  Kacaniclic was a different story though.

Whatever happened to Christopher Buchtmann by the way?  Always rated him and he seemed to just fall off the radar.

These coaches (if they are still here) should be summarily sacked. I wouldn't trade a dead body for Konchesky, let alone Dallas Valle, Kacaniklic and cash! :no

No real insight here. In fact the whole topic could be summarised as:

Kacaniklic is looking like a good player.  Roy Hodgson is a c*nt.

Imagine half a dozen pages of people saying that in different ways, and the abuse of Roy growing in true 4 Yorkshiremen sketch style, until the inevitable lock. You can thank me for the 5 minutes of your life that I have saved with the topic's early demise, by spending it in the Hillsborough forum. Thank you.

After his release from Fulham at the end of last season, Kacaniklic signed a 4 year deal with FC Nantes in Ligue 1.
