He's certainly been more involved than Sterling.
Sterling's been anonymous to be fair.

Pisses me off the commentators(and this time Pulis) acknowledging zonal marking. Hear iot frequently these days.

Miss placed passes everywhere, i mean these players are paid a small fortune and they can't even pass the ball 10 fucking yards it's criminal, Midfield does not know wither to stay or go, only good thing atm is the defence looks a lot stronger more compact.

Please, please please Brendan ditch this one up top ffs.

We've been average at best. Sacrificed our last bit of creativity for some more midfield solidity. Have controlled the game for the first time in ages, but still look vulnerable on the counter. Gerrard offers nothing aside from inconsistent-at-best set-piece delivery. His decision making when it comes to passing is woeful, only "bettered" by Lovren who seems to look for the most marked place and then play a slow and awkward ball towards him. Skrtel - even in low-key games like this - looks like an imposter of a defender/footballer all too often.

The worrying thing is that we seem content to just wait for Sturridge to return and hope for the best in the meantime. Brendan needs to do more. It's not August anymore. Lallana needs to be much more involved considering he's one of our few dangerous players on the pitch. Same goes for Sterling actually. Coutinho needs bringing on for one of the midfield three because it's deprived of creativity without Coutinho and Henderson.

Mario has been Mario: poor in some areas, made a good run and forced a corner from a good shot, has had absolutely zero service again (same goes for Lallana and Sterling as already said) and, to be fair to him, made our best defensive header.
